Brad - my concern is that of the five weeds you’ve tested in both trials, only one of them (Bindweed) is actually claimed on the Venue label as controlled. The other weeds: Knotweed, tumble pigweed, cutleaf geranium are not on the Venue label and control is not claimed. There are a lot of weeds which Venue does not control and will not provide any additional benefit when tank mixed with Glyphosate, Glufosinate, and Paraquat, but there are also many in which it does. I’m afraid that the data presented here is not representative of what Venue can actually do for a grower’s herbicide program.

I agree 100% with the results you got on Field Bind Weed. Venue does a really good job burning it down but because it is not a systemic herbicide, it does not control the below ground parts and bindweed typically regrows 14-21 days later.

One of the keys to making Venue work well in a herbicide program is having the right weeds in the field, which means that Venue may not have a fit in every acre out there. Venue is positioned as a tank mix partner with other herbicides to control weeds that other herbicides have a difficult time controlling by themselves and that are susceptible to Venue.
